It is already starting to feel like spring in Arizona, and we are looking ahead to some important upcoming dates in the APESF world:
February 15th: The 2015-2016 school year application will close. If you already have an app on file with us this year, you’re covered! If you haven’t gotten around to it yet, you have just 17 days left to complete one here. If you aren’t sure if you’ve applied for this school year, email us at helpdesk@apesf.org or call (480) 699-8911. Our last distribution for this school year will be in April, so there is still time to receive a scholarship!
April 1st: This is not an April Fools’ Joke! Our 2016-2017 school year application will open. Once you apply, your app will be valid through the entire 16-17 school year. Please apply one time per family per school year. If your application needs updating at any point in the year, feel free to email us at helpdesk@apesf.org or call (480) 699-8911. The first distribution for the 16-17 school year will occur in June.
April 15th: The donation deadline to claim a tax credit on your 2015 taxes. From January 1, 2016, through April 15, 2016, donors have the option to claim their donation on either their 2015 or 2016 state taxes. After April 15th, the donation must be used for a 2016 tax credit. Tax season has begun, so make sure to talk to your friends and family about donating!
