To commemorate America’s 250th birthday, APESF will award three $2,500 scholarships to
three creative challenge entries.
Top THREE photos- $2500 Tuition Scholarships
*A student must have a 2026-2027 application on file with APESF and NOT currently be receiving ESA funds to receive this scholarship
1. Each family can enter ONE selfie per student. Each student must have a 2026-2027 application on file with APESF. Click below to apply.
2. You must complete and submit the entry form below for EACH STUDENT with the full name of the student, student’s grade and school, and parent’s contact email and phone number.
3. Entrants must be in grades K-12 and attend a private school.
4. Entrants must agree to and accept the official challenge rules.
5. Photos must be submitted through the form below and must be submitted by 11:59pm on July 15, 2026.
6. Photos MUST include at least one of the APESF Stars, Stripes, & Selfies graphics. Click below to download the graphics. Please print one graphic and incorporate the printed graphic in the photo.
- The graphics can be printed in color or black and white.
- If you do not have a printer you may use a device to incorporate a digital graphic into the photo.
* For a student to be eligible to receive a scholarship, they must have a 2026-2027 application with APESF and NOT be receiving ESA funds for the 2026-2027 school year.
Showdown dates: July 1 – July 15, 2026
Selfies will be judged on originality, creativity, and the best use of an APESF challenge graphic.
Showdown scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of APESF.
Recipients will be announced by email on July 31, 2026.
Tuition scholarships will be awarded in our September 2026 disbursement for the 2026-2027 school year.
